Federal govt asks Sindh to repatriate eight police officers

ISLAMABAD: The federal government has decided to transfer eight police officers currently serving in Sindh.

According to sources, the Establishment Division has written to the chief secretary of the Sindh government, asking to be informed about the availability of the officers whose services have been sought back by the federal government.

The officers are Grade-20 officer Muhammad Farooq Ahmed; Grade-19 officers Zeeshan Shafiq Siddiqui and Shabbir Ahmed Sehar; and Grade-18 officers Shumail Riaz Malik, Lieutenant Commander (retd) Kashif Aftab Ahmed, Captain (retd) Saddam Hussain, Hafeezur Rehman and Captain (retd) Faizan Ali. The letter stated that the Establishment Division intends to utilize the services of these eight officers.
