QUETTA: Forty-nine arrested employees of the Balochistan Grand Alliance have been transferred to District Jail Quetta.
It is worth mentioning that during the budget session held yesterday, the Balochistan Grand Alliance staged a protest rally in support of its demands, including issues related to the Disparity Reduction Allowance (DRA) and other concerns. The protesters attempted to move towards the Balochistan Assembly to continue their demonstration.
However, police used tear gas to disperse the protesters when they tried to approach the Assembly premises. Dozens of employees were taken into custody during the operation. Later, the 49 arrested employees were shifted to District Jail Quetta.
