I would like to draw attention to the growing importance of digital literacy in an era increasingly shaped by AI and emerging technologies. As digital tools become more integrated into education, business and daily life, the ability to evaluate information critically and use technology responsibly has become an essential skill. While technological advancements have improved access to knowledge and communication, they have also created challenges. Many individuals struggle to identify credible sources of information, making them vulnerable to misinformation, online scams and manipulated content. The rapid development of AI-generated content further highlights the need for greater awareness and digital competence among citizens.

To address this issue, educational institutions should incorporate digital literacy programmes into their curricula, while public awareness campaigns should encourage responsible online behaviour. Equipping individuals with the skills to navigate the digital world effectively will contribute to a more informed and resilient society.
