Rawalpindi:An extraordinary meeting of the Central Muharram Committee (Azadari Cell) of Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafaria was held at Markaz Ali Masjid, Rawalpindi, under the chairmanship of TNFJ Secretary General Allama Raja Basharat Hussain Imami, during which detailed arrangements for Muharram-ul-Haram were reviewed, says a press release.
Presenting his report at the meeting, the Committee’s Additional Secretary, Bu Ali Mehdi, stated that in view of the sanctity and respect of the days of mourning, and keeping national and public interests paramount, control rooms have been established in the federal capital Islamabad and all five provinces, including Azad Kashmir, to facilitate mourners and cooperate with government arrangements during Muharram-ul-Haram. These control rooms will remain operational until 8 Rabi-ul-Awwal. The Central Muharram Committee (Azadari Cell) control room of TNFJ will operate round the clock.
He informed mourners that they may contact 051-4410180, 4570699, 0334-5765679, and 0345-5291412 for the resolution of any possible issues.Allama Basharat Imami appealed to the mourners of Imam Hussain (A.S.) to ensure the holding of mourning gatherings and processions in full compliance with the fourteen-point Code of Azadari announced by Chief Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafaria Agha Hussain Muqaddasi, and to promote the message of brotherhood and unity of Quaid-e-Millat-e-Jafaria Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Mousavi.He also strongly demanded the immediate suspension of dance programs, musical entertainment, and dramas on electronic media during the first ten days of Muharram.
