UET startups secure Rs115m investment

LAHORE : The University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore has achieved a significant milestone in innovation and entrepreneurship, with two of its startups securing a combined investment of Rs115 million.

According to a press release, the achievement was highlighted during the annual steering committee meeting of the Office of Research, Innovation and Commercialisation (ORIC), where the progress of the two ventures was formally recognised.

UET Lahore Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Shahid Munir congratulated the startup teams, saying the investment reflects the university’s growing ability to convert research and innovation into practical solutions for real-world challenges.

He described the development as a major achievement for the institution and appreciated the support of the Punjab government and other stakeholders in fostering innovation and creating opportunities for young entrepreneurs.
