KARACHI: Zong has partnered with the Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) to launch a dedicated 5G Customer Facilitation Desk at Jinnah International Airport, Karachi, offering travellers access to SIM activation, high-speed mobile data and real-time customer support upon arrival, stated a press release on Thursday.
The initiative extends Zong’s airport facilitation model, previously deployed at international airports in Islamabad and Lahore. The company said the desk would strengthen the airport’s digital ecosystem by ensuring uninterrupted connectivity for passengers. Zong also plans to expand its airport presence through kiosk deployments at Peshawar and Multan airports.
“Karachi serves as a key gateway for both domestic and international travellers, making seamless connectivity an essential part of the travel experience,” said Deputy Regional General Manager — South, Zong Anas Matloob.
The PAA’s Joint Director Commercial, Karachi, said the collaboration would provide improved digital support to travellers, contributing to a more seamless and comfortable airport experience.
