KARACHI: Gold prices decreased by Rs9,720 per tola in the local market on Thursday following a decline in the international market.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, 24-karat gold rates reached Rs432,716 per tola.Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold dropped by Rs8,748 to Rs369,422.
Gold rates decreased by $97.20 to $4,102.80 per ounce in the international market. Prices in the local market are adjusted by a premium of $20 against rates in the international market.Silver rates decreased by 40 to Rs6,889 per tola. Similarly, 10-gram silver rates also dropped by Rs36 to Rs5,857.
