I want to bring your attention to the poor condition of the Quaidabad section of the National Highway in Karachi. As someone who travels on this road daily, I have seen how deep potholes, broken patches and open ditches make travel dangerous. This damages vehicles and puts the lives of motorcyclists, pedestrians and truck drivers at risk every day. The situation is made worse by illegal encroachments. Vendors and shopkeepers have taken over parts of the road, leaving very little space for traffic. This causes major jams during rush hours and increases the chances of accidents.
I request the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC), National Highway Authority (NHA) and the district administration to take quick action. The road should be repaired soon, encroachments should be removed and traffic should be properly managed
