LAHORE:A surprising revelation emerged during a general hold-up conducted by Lahore Traffic Police, exposing a major record of traffic law violations.

During the checking process, officials stopped a motorcyclist and, upon verifying ownership, discovered that 421 vehicles — including cars, rickshaws, and motorcycles — were registered under the name of a single individual, Baz Muhammad.

Authorities revealed that over Rs2,088,800 in e-tickets dues were pending against him. The motorcycle was subsequently impounded at Muslim Town Police Station. On the directives of CTO Lahore Syed Abdul Rahim Sherazi, action against e-tickets defaulters was intensified.

‘E-ticket defaulters should prepare for strict action,’ said CTO. The case of one individual linked to 421 vehicles and millions in unpaid challans has raised serious concerns among authorities.
