Karachi is currently facing serious cleanliness and waste management problems. Garbage can be seen on roads, in streets and near residential areas because waste is not properly collected or disposed of. Due to the waste and stagnant water, the mosquito population has increased rapidly, causing diseases such as dengue and malaria. This has become a major health issue for the people of Karachi. One of the main reasons behind this problem is the lack of public awareness about cleanliness. Many people throw trash in open places instead of using dustbins. Poor drainage systems and irregular garbage collection also make the situation worse, especially during the summer and rainy seasons.
The government should improve waste management systems and ensure regular cleaning of public areas. At the same time, citizens must understand their responsibility to keep their surroundings clean. A clean city can help create a healthier and safer environment for everyone.
