Body of teen fished out from Panjkora River

KHAR: The body of a 16-year old boy from Bajaur, who had gone missing after drowning in the Panjkora River near Shagokas Zolam Bridge in Lower Dir a few days ago, was recovered from the Malakand area and handed over to his family.

According to Rescue 1122 officials, the deceased identified as Abbas Khan, a resident of Bajaur, had been missing since the incident. Following reports of the drowning, the Rescue 1122 Malakand launched an extensive search operation to fish out the body.

After a prolonged and continuous search effort, the Rescue 1122 divers recovered the body on Sunday from a location known as Bosaq Gardao Dab in the river.Following the recovery, the body was transported from Malakand to Bajaur. After completing all necessary formalities, the Bajaur Rescue 1122 medical team transported the body by ambulance to the deceased’s native village.
