RAWALPINDI: Security forces have killed six terrorists in an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Panjgur district of Balochistan.

On June 3 and 4, security forces conducted an IBO in Panjgur district of Balochistan, on reported presence of terrorists belonging to Indian proxy Fitna al-Hindustan. During the conduct of operation, forces effectively engaged multiple terrorist locations and after intense fire exchanges, six Indian-sponsored terrorists were killed, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement. Weapons, ammunition, improvised explosive devices and vehicles were also recovered from terrorists, who remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities in the area.

Sanitization operations are being conducted to eliminate any other Indian-sponsored terrorist found in the area.

APP adds: President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Friday commended the security forces for successfully carrying out an operation against Indian-backed Fitna al-Hindustan terrorists in Panjgur, resulting in the killing of six militants.

In separate statements, both leaders said that operations against terrorists under Operation Azm-e-Istehkam would continue until their logical conclusion.
