Rawalpindi:The Rawalpindi Waste Management Company (RWMC) on Friday organised an awareness walk, door-to-door campaign and market outreach activities to mark World Environment Day and promote environmental protection and cleanliness among citizens.
Chief Executive Officer of RWMC Rana Sajid Safdar, along with officers, supervisory staff and other employees, participated in the activities held across the city. Participants carried banners and placards bearing messages on environmental conservation, cleanliness and pollution control.
Awareness pamphlets were distributed among residents, while door-to-door campaigns were conducted in markets and residential areas to encourage environmentally responsible practices.
