Rawalpindi: Punjab Food Authority (PFA) conducted a major operation in Rawalpindi, seizing and destroying 1,200 kilograms of substandard and unhealthy meat during a checkpoint operation near the Thalian Motorway Toll Plaza. A suspect was also arrested in connection with the case.

According to a PFA spokesperson on Friday, the meat was being transported from the Sargodha-Jhang Road area and was intended for distribution in various parts of Rawalpindi. Acting on a tip-off, food safety teams established a checkpoint near the motorway toll plaza and intercepted a suspicious vehicle.
