LAHORE:Punjab Safe Cities Authority (PSCA) has reunited a woman with her family after 22 years of separation.
According to a spokesperson, Shagufta went missing from Lahore in 2004 when she was only 12-year old.Due to mental health challenges, she lost her way and became separated from her family.She later spent years at a welfare institution in Karachi. The PSCA‘s team recorded Shagufta’s interview and shared it on social media along with her old photograph.Shagufta’s sister came across the video and recognised her.
