JAMRUD: Khyber District Police Officer (DPO) Waqar Ahmad said on Thursday that the performance of all police stations will be reviewed on a daily basis, and strict departmental action will be taken against officials found guilty of poor performance, negligence, or carelessness.
He said this while presiding over a crime meeting of SHOs and investigation officers from all police stations across the district.The meeting reviewed the overall crime situation, cases under investigation, and ongoing operations against declared criminals, drug peddlers, smugglers, drug dealers, and illegal immigrants in detail.
The SP of Bara, Nawab Khan, was present along with other SHOs on the occasion. The DPO, while issuing instructions to all officials, said that indiscriminate operations against drug peddlers, drug dealers, smugglers, and other criminal elements should be accelerated.He said the ongoing campaign against illegal immigrants should be made more effective and that their deportation should be ensured in a dignified manner at all costs.
