21 children of martyred cops given laptops

LAHORE:Inspector General of Police (IGP), Punjab, Abdul Kareem distributed modern laptops among 21 children of police martyrs at the Central Police Office.

The recipients included students enrolled in medical, LLB, IT and other technology-related programmes. Addressing the ceremony, the IGP said Punjab Police had so far provided laptops to 329 children of police martyrs through welfare funds, including 127 during the current year.

According to the Punjab Police spokesperson, the beneficiaries included two students from Lahore, three each from Sheikhupura and Jhang, two each from Gujranwala, Sialkot and Telecommunication Punjab, and one each from Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Okara, Muzaffargarh, CTD, PHP and Police Training School Sargodha.
