ISLAMABAD: Samiullah Khan, a BS-22 officer of the Postal Group and Director General of the Pakistan Post Office Department, has been transferred and directed to report to the Establishment Division.

Maqsood Ahmed Baloch, Additional Director General Operations, Pakistan Post Office Department, has been assigned the temporary additional charge of Director General, Pakistan Post, for a period of three months. Squadron Leader (R) Maqsood Ahmed Baloch is a BS-21 officer of the Postal Group.

Meanwhile, the 12-day leave of Federal Public Service Commission Chairman Lt. Gen. (R) Akhtar Nawaz Satti has been approved. According to the notification, he will remain on leave from June 1 to June 12, 2026, due to his departure abroad.

The tenure of Shahzana Durrani, a BS-20 officer of the Pakistan Audit and Accounts Service and Joint Secretary, Institutional Reforms Cell, Cabinet Division, has also been extended. Her tenure has been extended until her retirement date, December 16, 2027.

A notification has also been issued regarding the retirement of Deputy Secretary Nisar Hussain, currently posted in the Finance Division, on April 14, 2027. Furthermore, Anam Gulrez Mir, who was awaiting appointment in the Establishment Division, has now been posted as Section Officer in the National Food Security Division. The Establishment Division has issued notifications regarding all these orders.
