SUKKUR: Five people, including two children and a woman, were killed when a trailer hit a motorcycle on the National Highway near Khairpur.
According to police, the accident occurred due to over speeding. The collision was so severe that all the four people on the motorcycle died on the spot. Rescue teams shifted the bodies and injured to a nearby hospital. Police have taken the trailer into custody and launched an investigation into the incident.
Police sources said the accident happened because of the trailer’s high speed. The deceased have been identified as 6-year-old Ali Nawaz son of Qadir Shar, 28-year-old Qadir son of Sikandar alias Jalal Shar, 45-year-old Sorath, wife of Sachal Shar, 8-year-old Ghulam Rehber son of Haji Shar, and 18-year-old Rozina Shar all residents of village Aqil Shar.
