Rawalpindi:Police have arrested a proclaimed offender (PO) wanted in multiple robbery cases and recovered Rs478,000 in stolen cash along with the weapon allegedly used in the crimes.
According to police, the suspect had been absconding and was wanted in three robbery cases registered last year. Acting on technical and human intelligence, a team from Wah Cantt Police successfully traced and apprehended the accused.
Police said the recovery of the looted cash and weapon was made following the suspect's disclosure and identification during interrogation. SP Potohar, Sardar Babar Mumtaz Khan said the accused would be challaned in court with solid evidence to ensure legal action against him.
