LAHORE:The Punjab government may revert the market timing to 8.00 pm across the province, including Lahore from today (Monday).

The government had relaxed the policy of market timing before Eidul Azha on the demand of the traders and citizens. Deputy Commissioner Lahore Capt (R) Ali Ejaz said the decision of reverting market timing to 8.00 pm was final but the final notification will be issued by the Punjab government. Traders of different markets appealed the Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz to extend market timings as there will be no customers in day hours due to heatwave.
