ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and First Lady Aseefa Bhutto Zardari will lead the party’s election campaign in Gilgit-Baltistan ahead of the upcoming elections on June 7.
According to the campaign schedule, Bilawal will address a public gathering in Shigar on May 31 before moving to Khaplu on June 1 and Skardu on June 2. He will continue the campaign with a rally in Diamer on June 3, while Aseefa will address a public meeting in Hunza on the same day. On June 4, Bilawal is scheduled to address a gathering in Ghizer, while Aseefa will campaign in Nagar. The PPP’s election campaign tour will conclude with a public rally by Bilawal in Gilgit on June 5.
