CHITRAL: The spiritual leader of the Ismaili community, Prince Rahim Aga Khan, visited the didar gah in Parwak on Saturday, where he met with members of the community from various areas, including Yarkhun, Laspur, and surrounding regions.
According to details, he is expected to visit the Parwak didar gah again to meet Ismaili followers arriving from Booni, Torkhow, and Mulkhow. He was warmly welcomed by Deputy Commissioner, Upper Chitral, Muhammad Imran and Ismaili Regional Council president Imtiaz Alam.
During his address, Prince Rahim Aga Khan emphasised adherence to the core beliefs of Islam, its pillars, and the finality of the Prophethood.
This visit holds special significance as it is his first tour of Pakistan since assuming the title of the 50th Imam in February last year. Ismaili followers from across Pakistan and abroad have gathered in large numbers in Chitral for the occasion.
After completing his engagements in Parwak, Prince Rahim Aga Khan proceeded to the
Ghizer district of Gilgit-Baltistan.
He is also scheduled to visit Garum Chasma in Lower Chitral on Monday, where he will address followers from the region.
