DIR: Over 60 students attended a week-long training workshop on “Travel Guide & Hotel Management” at the Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University Sheringal.
District Youth Office, Upper Dir, in collaboration with the district administration and Directorate of Societies, had organised the workshop.
The closing ceremony was held in the Main Academic Block.
Additional Deputy Commissioner, Relief, Sher Ali Khan and Murad Khan, district project manager SRSP, attended as chief guests. In his address, Sher Ali Khan said that youth were a nation’s most valuable asset and guarantee of a bright future. He said that students can earn a respectable income through professions related to travel guiding and tourism.
