CHARSADDA: Three children were killed and two others injured when the roof of a residential house collapsed in the Parang Majoki area of Charsadda district on Sunday.
According to Rescue 1122 officials, the roof of the house caved in suddenly, trapping five people beneath the debris. Upon receiving the alert, they added, the rescue teams rushed to the site and launched an emergency operation with the help of residents.
The rescue personnel, they maintained, managed to pull all the trapped persons from the rubble. However, three children, including 12-year-old Sajal, three-year-old Abubakar, and two-year-old Umair, were found dead at the scene.
