Islamabad : A general body meeting to bid farewell to outgoing office-bearers and welcome the newly elected team of Islamabad D.Watson Lions Club held, says a press club, says a press release.
The meeting was attended by PDG Lion Dr Hassan Surosh Akram, Chartered President Lion Ahsan Bakhtawari, President Lion Malik Mohsin Khalid, Secretary Lion Faizan Shahzad, MC Lion Muhammad Owais Malik and other members.
The newly elected office-bearers announced at the meeting include President Lion Sadaf Asim Abbasi, Secretary Lion Shahbaz Masih, Treasurer and Director Lion Ahsan Bakhtawari, First Vice President Arham Ahsan Bakhtawari, Second Vice President Muhammad Owais Malik, LCIF Coordinator Haris Bakhtawari, Marketing Chairperson Nasir Mahmood, Club Service Chairperson Joharia Azhar, Club Membership Chairperson Malik Nadeem Akhtar, and Club Administrator Zafar Bakhtawari.
New members Maqsood Tabish, Hammad Kazmi, Majid Shabbir, Iqbal Aanchan and Imran Rashid also attended.
Speaking on the occasion, PDG Lion Dr Hassan Surosh Akram said the club had always been an example of service, brotherhood and humanity. He urged the new leadership to strengthen the spirit of service and continue contributing positively to society.
Director Lion Ahsan Zafar briefed members on the club’s activities and future plans. He said efforts would be made to expand outreach through more effective initiatives for youth and community welfare. He appreciated the outgoing team’s services and expressed confidence that the new team would take the club forward.
