ACP greets Salman on summit of Mount Everest

Islamabad : The Alpine Club of Pakistan (ACP) has extended its warmest and heartfelt congratulations to renowned Pakistani mountaineer, scuba diver, and paraglider Salman Ateeque on his remarkable and successful summit of Mount Everest (8,848.86 meters) achieved on May 21, 2026.

This extraordinary accomplishment comes exactly one year after Salman Ateeque’s successful ascent of Mount Manaslu (8,163 meters), the world’s eighth-highest mountain, once again demonstrating his unwavering dedication, endurance, and passion for high-altitude adventure and extreme sports.

The Alpine Club of Pakistan termed the achievement a proud and historic moment for Pakistan’s mountaineering community and an inspiration for aspiring adventurers and athletes across the country.

Vice President of the Alpine Club of Pakistan, Karrar Haidri, praised Salman Ateeque’s determination and perseverance, stating:

“Salman Ateeque’s determination, courage, and passion for extreme sports and mountaineering truly reflect the highest spirit of adventure, resilience, and perseverance. His successful ascent of the world’s highest peak is another proud and historic milestone for Pakistan’s mountaineering community.
