Islamabad : Federal education secretary Nadeem Mahbub on Thursday visited National Commission for Human Development-operated non-formal education centre in Bhara Kahu area on the outskirts of the federal capital to observe the impact of newly-distributed teacher aid kits designed to strengthen foundational literacy and numeracy for out-of-school children.
He said through that initiative, the ministry had distributed 3,450 teacher aid kits across ICT, AJK and GB, promoting interactive, activity-based and child-centered learning in non-formal classrooms.
The secretary said the ministry was committed to improving learning outcomes by empowering teachers and introducing innovative, practical teaching tools at the community level.
