LAHORE : Ameer-ud-Din Medical College Principal Prof Dr Farooq Afzal has issued strict directives to the Lahore General Hospital (LGH) administration to ensure the provision of timely and high-quality healthcare services to patients.

Chairing a review meeting of hospital operations, Prof Farooq Afzal made it clear that no negligence regarding the implementation of government SOPs would be tolerated, administrative doctors failing to comply with these guidelines would face immediate department transfers.

The principal summoned the complete biometric attendance record of the sanitary inspector for the past four months to be submitted within 24 hours. He directed the MS to initiate disciplinary action against non-performing employees, regardless of their rank or designation. Furthermore, a 72-hour ultimatum was issued to the private cleanliness and security companies operating within the hospital premises, with a stern warning that departmental action will be initiated according to regulations if their performance does not show visible improvement.
