7 held in Peshawar ID forgery case

PESHAWAR: The Capital City Police Peshawar on Wednesday unearthed an organised network involved in preparing Pakistani identity documents for foreign nationals and arrested seven suspects during a major operation in the city.

According to a press release issued by the police, the operation was carried out on the directives of SP Faqirabad Division Resham Jahangir.

The arrested suspects were identified as Aitazaz, Suleman Khan, Naseem Shah, Fawad, Irfan Ajmal, Asif, and Qari Bashir. Police said the accused were part of an organised gang.
