PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi has assured Chinese investors of full cooperation and facilities for investment in the mineral sector.
“The province offers vast opportunities for foreign investment in mining and natural resources,” he said while talking to a delegation of Chinese mining companies led by former provincial minister Yousaf Ayub Khan during a meeting held at the Governor’s House.
The delegation included Xiao Xuezheng, CEO of Zhuzhou Jinzheng Mining Pvt Ltd; Fu QiuFeng, chairman of Tuny Pak Mining Pvt Ltd; Ibrahim Ihsan Khan, CEO of Vulcan Resources Private Limited; MaHongYun, general manager of Zhuzhou Jinzheng Mining Pvt Ltd; and Hamza Ayub Khan of the Pakistan-China Friendship Association.
The Chinese delegation apprised the governor of the challenges being faced by mining companies operating in the province.
The governor assured the delegation of his full support in resolving their issues and facilitating investors.
