KARACHI: A special promotional event for the upcoming Pakistani film Zombied, presented by Geo Films and Filmwala Pictures, was held at a private university in Karachi, where the film’s cast and crew interacted with students ahead of its Eid-ul-Adha release.
Actors Fahad Mustafa and Mehwish Hayat, along with producer and writer Fizza Ali Mirza and director Nabeel Qureshi, attended the event and received an enthusiastic welcome from students. The auditorium echoed with applause as the cast arrived, while a large number of students took selfies with their favourite celebrities.
A special panel discussion was also organised during the event, where the team shared insights into the film’s storyline, shooting experiences and its unique concept. Speaking on the occasion, Mehwish Hayat and Fahad Mustafa discussed their respective characters and shared interesting behind-the-scenes experiences. Fizza Ali Mirza and Nabeel Qureshi said that Pakistani cinema is increasingly exploring fresh and unconventional stories, adding that Zombied would offer audiences a unique cinematic experience. The film’s trailer was also screened and received tremendous appreciation from students. Participants described the film’s theme and presentation as highly engaging and expressed excitement about watching it in cinemas on Eid-ul-Adha.
Producer Fizza Ali Mirza and director Nabeel Qureshi appreciated the enthusiasm of the youth and expressed confidence that Zombied would provide audiences with quality entertainment during the festive season.
