Islamabad : Deputy Inspector General of Police for Security Rana Umar Farooq held an orderly room at his office to address the departmental and personal grievances of Islamabad Police personnel on a priority basis.
The session was attended by officers from the Security Division, who presented a range of professional and personal challenges directly to the DIG. Responding to the grievances, DIG Farooq ordered fresh inquiries into several serious matters brought forward by the personnel and issued immediate directives to ensure the swift resolution of all remaining issues.
Speaking on the occasion, DIG Farooq highlighted ongoing departmental initiatives aimed at improving the welfare of the force, specifically focusing on housing, enhanced medical facilities, and better educational standards for the officers' families. He reassured the personnel that his office remains accessible at all times to address their legitimate concerns, emphasizing that collective effort is essential for the betterment and security of the capital city. The DIG reiterated that the primary objective of organizing the orderly room is to systematically prioritize and resolve the official and personal welfare issues faced by police officers.
