Petrol prices in Pakistan have reached a point where ordinary people can no longer keep up. Every time fuel prices rise, transport fares go up instantly, making daily commuting a struggle for students, workers and families alike. For many, just getting to university or work has become an expensive task. Small business owners are the worst hit. Their delivery costs, raw material prices, and overhead expenses keep climbing while their income stays the same. Daily wage workers are forced to cut down on basic meals just to afford their commute.
Students from middle-class families are quietly dropping tuition or switching to cheaper options simply because transport has become unaffordable. The government must freeze fuel prices immediately and provide genuine relief to the common man. Enough promises have been made. People are exhausted. Pakistan cannot move forward when its people cannot afford to move at all.
