Marka-e-Haq celebrated at PCA

Rawalpindi: A dignified and vibrant ceremony in connection with ‘Marka-e-Haq’ was organized by the Punjab Council of the Arts Rawalpindi in collaboration with the All Pakistan Private School Management Association.

The event featured speech contests, tableau performances, and Milli Naghma competitions among students from various member schools of APPSMA, reflecting patriotism, national unity, and tribute to the sacrifices rendered for the homeland. Parliamentary Secretary for Information and Culture Punjab Shazia Rizwan Afsar attended the ceremony as the chief guest.

Addressing the participants, she said that Marka-e-Haq serves as a reminder of the unparalleled sacrifices made for the defense of the country and the preservation of national integrity.

She emphasized that the armed forces of Pakistan have always rendered remarkable services for the security, sovereignty, and peace of the nation, making every Pakistani proud. She further stated that such events play a vital role in instilling patriotism, discipline, and a sense of responsibility among the younger generation.

Appreciating the enthusiasm and talent displayed by the students, she remarked that the youth are the true ambassadors of Pakistan’s bright and prosperous future. Among the distinguished speakers were Abrar Ahmad, President APPSMA Punjab, and Muhammad Shakoor, Director Punjab Council of the Arts Rawalpindi.

Both speakers highlighted the importance of commemorating Marka-e-Haq and stressed the need to educate the younger generation about the sacrifices of national heroes and martyrs. They also praised the collaborative efforts of educational institutions in promoting national harmony and cultural awareness. Students participated enthusiastically in speech competitions, tableau presentations, and Milli Naghma performances, earning immense appreciation from the audience.
