PFA destroys 600kg dead chickens

NANKANA SAHIB: The Punjab Food Authority (PFA) destroyed 600 kilograms of dead chickens at Walipura, Shahkot, and registered a case against those involved in the illegal supply of unsafe meat.

According to PFA spokesperson Syed Binyamin Hussain, PFA Deputy Director Adeel Ahmad constituted a special team after receiving information that dead chickens were being secretly transported in a loader rickshaw for supply in Shahkot on Saturday. During the operation, officials conducted a detailed inspection on the spot.
