Sindh Senior Minister and Minister for Information, Transport and Mass Transit Sharjeel Inam Memon has congratulated the successful candidates in the Health Reporters Association (HRA) elections and expressed his best wishes for the new leadership of the HRA.

In a statement on Wednesday, he said that health reporters play a key role in creating public awareness in the health sector, and it is hoped that the new leadership will highlight the issues related to the health sector in an effective manner.

Memon said a responsible and active health journalism not only increases public awareness but also helps in policy-making. He said that the Sindh government is continuing to take steps for the welfare and professional development of the journalist community, and all possible steps will be taken to resolve the problems of health reporters.
