ISLAMABAD: A major breakthrough has emerged in the investigation of the F-6 kidnapping and murder case, as authorities have reportedly taken a police constable and his female accomplice into custody.
Officers engaged in the investigation disclosed when contacted that the arrested constable — stationed in Swat and the son of a serving deputy superintendent of police (DSP) — is alleged to have orchestrated the violent crime. Investigators believe the constable acted at the behest of a female associate originally from Swabi. The suspect reportedly utilised his position and connections to recruit two contract killers from Swat to carry out the abduction.
The primary female suspect is alleged to have provided the logistical backbone for the operation, reportedly housing the hired assailants at her apartment in Islamabad’s F-11 sector. It was from this location that the group monitored the victim and obtained the precise coordinates of his residence in F-6 before executing the kidnapping.
Following the abduction, the female suspect reportedly followed the vehicle carrying the victim and the assailants as they traveled toward Swat. Preliminary reports suggest that the victim was murdered during the journey, with his body subsequently disposed of along the motorway.
While current findings implicate the 19-year-old female suspect and the DSP’s son, investigators believe at least three other associates were involved in the conspiracy from its inception. Law enforcement officials have remained tight-lipped regarding specific motives and further evidence to protect the integrity of the ongoing probe and out of respect for the grieving families. The suspects remain in custody as the formal police investigation continues toward court proceedings.
