PESHAWAR: The Pak-Afghan Joint Chamber of Commerce and Industry has termed the federal government’s decision to allow other countries to trade with Iran through Pakistan and various corridor routes as a step towards prosperity and stability.
In a press statement issued here on Tuesday, Chamber Senior Vice President Zia-ul-Haq Sarhadi described the development as a welcome step towards enhancing regional trade and connectivity.
Sarhadi said that the Ministry of Commerce has issued a notification regarding the Goods Transit Order through Pakistan.
