Adviser elated at April sales tax collection

PESHAWAR: Adviser to KP Chief Minister on Finance Muzzammil Aslam has said that the highest-ever collection of sales tax on services in the province’s history was recorded during April.

According to a handout, he said that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Authority (KPRA) collected Rs4.45 billion in April, marking a significant increase of 25 percent.According to the advisor, during April 2025, Rs3.56 billion had been collected under the same head, and a substantial increase has been observed in this year’s collection compared to last year.

Muzzammil Aslam greeted KPRA on the outstanding performance and record revenue collection, expressing hope that KPRA will continue to play its role in the province’s financial growth with the same dedication and professionalism in the future.
