Semifinalists decided in Prof Mukhtar Memorial Cricket

LAHORE: The league stage of the Professor Mukhtar Ahmed Butt Memorial T20 Tournament has drawn to a close in Lahore, producing four semifinalists after a fiercely contested round of matches.

In the first semifinal, table-toppers Old Ravians will face Unisoft Software Pakistan, while the second semifinal will see Nova Med lock horns with Sardar Group. Old Ravians finished in first place with a perfect record, collecting 10 points from five matches. Sardar Group, with 8 points, edged into second place thanks to a superior run rate, while Nova Med, also on 8 points, settled for third. Unisoft Software Pakistan rounded off the top four, claiming the last semifinal spot with 6 points from three wins in five outings.

Chief Organiser Fahim Mukhtar Butt praised the quality of cricket on display, noting that a total of 30 league matches were played, each marked by competitiveness and high standards.
