The Pakistan Rangers Sindh on Monday arrested three suspects linked to the “Sher Gang” during an intelligence-based operation in Hasan Nauman Colony, Sohrab Goth, officials said.
The arrested suspects were identified as Sher Ali, the gang leader and son of Khayal Gul; Hayatullah, son of Niaz Gul; and Riaz Khan, son of Nawab Khan. Authorities recovered one stolen motorcycle, a mobile phone, and cash from their possession.
According to a Rangers spokesperson, the suspects, along with their accomplices, were involved in multiple incidents of robbery, street crime, mobile snatching, and motorcycle theft in areas including Gabol Town, the Industrial Area, Sohrab Goth, and adjoining localities.
Officials stated that the arrested individuals were habitual offenders. A case had already been registered against Sher Ali at the Sohrab Goth police station. The suspects were recently involved in a motorcycle theft in Gabol Town, which was captured on CCTV footage. Efforts were underway to apprehend other members of the gang. The detained suspects had been handed over to the police, along with the recovered items, for further legal proceedings
