LAHORE: Peshawar Zalmi’s left-arm spinner Sufyan Moqim capped off a stellar campaign by being named Player of the Tournament in the PSL 11 Final. His consistent wicket-taking and ability to deliver in high-pressure moments proved decisive in Zalmi’s march to the title.

Commenting on his achievement, Moqim said: “My individual performance was good, and so was the team’s. The situation in which I bowled my first over, Usman Khan was batting. I knew I had to get him out because he’s been playing beautifully in both domestic and PSL. And he plays spin well, but I knew I am also a good spinner, so I got him out.”

He credited hard work and preparation for his success, adding: “I have worked very hard on my bowling. It was written in the stars for me to be named the best bowler, and I’m very happy with it. Individual awards are very important for a player.”
