CHITRAL: Deputy Commissioner, Lower Chitral, Rao Hashim Azim chaired a meeting to review arrangements for the Kalash community’s festival, Chilamjust.
The meeting was attended by officials from the district administration, police, Pakistan Army, and other relevant departments.Discussions focused on security arrangements, tourist facilities, traffic and parking management, road conditions, price monitoring, and the establishment of tourist facilitation centers.The deputy commissioner emphasised ensuring a peaceful and well-organised festival, stressing respect for the cultural and religious traditions of the Kalash community.
