ISLAMABAD: The meeting of the High-Powered Selection Board (HPSB), scheduled for April 27 to consider the promotion of federal service officers to BS-22, has been postponed.
According to sources, the Establishment Division had completed all necessary preparations for the meeting. However, due to the official engagements of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar in connection with the evolving regional situation, the meeting has been deferred until the third week of May.
During the rescheduled session, a total of 14 officers are expected to be considered for promotion to BS-22. These include seven officers from the Pakistan Administrative Service, five from the Police Service of Pakistan, and one officer each from the Secretariat Group, Inland Revenue Service, and Information Group.
