Islamabad: Academic activities at the Quaid-i-Azam University here will get back on track from today (Monday), said the administration.
According to a notification issued by the registrar, on-campus classes and routine academic operations will resume after a period of disruption. However, all precautionary measures will continue to remain in force to ensure a safe, secure and orderly environment for students, faculty members and administrative staff. The QAU had switched to online classes on April 20 in view of VVIP movement in Islamabad and Rawalpindi for US-Iran peace talks in the federal capital.
The administration directed all relevant departments to strictly implement the existing guidelines and ensure full compliance across the campus without exception. It highlighted the importance of maintaining discipline, vigilance and adherence to safety protocols as normal academic activities begin again.
Students and faculty were advised to strictly follow all instructions and extend full cooperation to campus management to facilitate a smooth, organised and uninterrupted transition back to regular academic operations.
