PTI received Rs12.05m donations for Mardan gathering

MARDAN: The funding details for the public gathering of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) held on April 19 have come to light, revealing that donations were made by various party members.

According to documents released on social media, the highest contribution of Rs 1 million was made by PTI Senator Zeeshan Khanzada.

Several other individuals, including members of the provincial assembly (MPAs), Iftikhar Ali Mashwani, Amir Farzand Khan, Zarshad Khan, Tufail Anjum, Zahir Shah Toru, Abdul Salam Afridi, Tariq Aryani, and Ehtesham Ali, each donated Rs500,000. 

Members of the National Assembly (MNAs) Atif Khan, Ali Muhammad Khan and Mujahid Khan, along with Haris Khan Toru, Abbas Khan, Jahanzeb Khan and Adil Nawaz, also contributed the same amount. According to the list, some individuals donated Rs200,000, while others contributed amounts ranging between Rs50,000 and Rs100,000.

The list also includes representatives from different tehsils, including Takhatbhai, Katlang, Rustam and Ghari Kapura.
