LAHORE: Fast bowler Naseem Shah has been released after sustaining a suspected quadriceps strain while fielding in a recent match.
The medical team has assessed the injury as a low-grade quadriceps strain, ruling him out of participation in the team’s final fixture on April 26.
In a statement, the RawalPindiz confirmed their full support for the young pacer during his recovery period and extended best wishes for a swift and complete return to fitness. This development comes as a setback ahead of the closing stages of the HBL Pakistan Super League 11, with Naseem’s absence leaving a gap in the bowling attack.
