LAHORE: The Lahore Race Club has announced an exciting five-race programme for its 34th Day Winter Meeting, with all contests set in Class VII divisions. The first three races will be run over 1000 metres, while the last two stretch to 1100 metres.
The first Class VII, Division VI & VII (1000m) race features a field of 11 runners, with Haseeb Thrill marked as the favourite, Good Boy tipped for place, and Anni Power considered the fluke. The lineup includes True Promise, Haseeb Thrill, Anni Power, Hassan Star, Star Crown, Power Up, Shera Choice, Self Belief, Abdullah Pasrur, Good Boy, and Silent Melody.
Nine horses will contest the second Class VII, Division VI (1000m) event, where Construct Craft is the favourite, Zaman Sahib the place contender, and Zindagi the fluke. The field comprises Yes Commander, Construct Craft, King Asia, Absolutely Not, Fakhar-e-Sardar, Black Fire, Zindagi, Zaman Sahib, and Rashid Prince. A strong field of 12 runners will line up in the third Class VII, Division III, IV & V (1000m) race. Eden Queen is the favourite, Emerging Star the place pick, and Be A Man the fluke. The participants are Best Call, Eden Queen, Fatteh Prince, Be A Man, Zaid Prince, Bellatrix, Largess, Emerging Star, Raja The Great, Fayyum, Haseeb Warrior, and Tiger of Sultan.
The fourth Class VII, Division I (1100m) race, featuring six runners, highlights Sikandar as the favourite, Feel My Love for place, and Golden Heart as the fluke. The lineup includes Feel My Love, Wynx, Mr. Magic, Sikandar, Golden Heart, and Ex Gambler (KRC).
The concluding Fifth and Final – Class VII, Division II & III (1100m) race of the day will see 10 runners in action. Desert Pari is the favourite, Dawood Prince the place contender, and Safe Bet the fluke. The field comprises Casino (KRC), Cinderella’s Dream, Desert Pari, Haseeb Gladiator, Gul-e-Jalal, Metro Queen, Little Master, Pakiza, Dawood Prince, and Safe Bet.
