LAHORE: The Punjab Sports and Youth Affairs Department successfully staged the CM Punjab Inter-District Kabaddi Championship at Minhala Stadium, Lahore, delivering a thrilling finale where Kasur district kabaddi team stunned Lahore by 35-30 to lift the title.
The championship was organized under the direction of Director General Sports and Youth Affairs Punjab, Mohammad Tariq Qureshi, as part of the department’s drive to promote traditional sports across the province.
Kasur’s spirited performance in the final saw them overcome the strong Lahore side, who were favourites heading into the contest. The match drew loud cheers from spectators as Kasur held their nerve in the closing stages to secure a memorable victory.
